[Personality]
Be ye of understanding in him and built up in him, be ye steadfast in the faith grow .... let your hearts overflow with gratitude [Colossians 2: 7]
Melankonik, choleric, sanguine, and plegmatik. The theory of the human race into four personality types were born from ancient Greek belief that the human body is composed of four kinds of liquids, which in Greek is called melanchole [black bile], chole [bile yellow], phlegm [mucus], and sanguis [language latin: blood]. According to them, everyone has certain personal tendencies from birth because of differences in the composition of these fluids.
This belief itself is disputed by modern scientists. However, the classification system is still popular, especially among the laity. Merely as a discussion, not a problem. Unfortunately, this classification is often used as the reason to not want to improve themselves. "I was born with a personality like this, so it is my weak these things," so trick some people. As if the personality and character is no longer possible to change. In fact, every human being is constantly changing throughout life. The problem, to which direction he changed?
The Bible teaches that we as God's people should be changed more perfect. Because, after a penetrating Christ, we are called to "built upon Him". For more centered and more perfected in him. So, as long as we do not yet have the "personality like him", we must continue to improve. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we are diligently pursuing perfection.
Build a noble character, leaving the tendencies that are less noble, becoming spiritually mature and become a channel of blessing to others.
WE CALLED TO CONTINUE TO BUILD YOURSELF BY YOU TO BE LIKE CHRIST OUR LORD.
